Jerry SohlGerald Allan Sohl Sr., detto Jerry, noto anche con lo pseudonimo di Nathan Butler (Los Angeles, 2 dicembre 1913 – Thousand Oaks, 4 novembre 2002), è stato un autore di fantascienza e sceneggiatore statunitense.

Ha scritto sceneggiature per le serie televisive Ai confini della realtà (come ghost writer di Charles Beaumont), Alfred Hitchcock presenta, The Outer Limits, Star Trek e sceneggiature cinematografiche. È inoltre autore di romanzi e opere su scacchi e bridge.
Sposato nel 1943, ha avuto un figlio e due figlie.
